Hi, I’m rachel

I’m a UX researcher with a masters degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington. My career started in healthcare software after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Bioengineering. I am currently living in Seattle.

I work at 98point6, a virtual healthcare company that delivers primary care through a mobile app. The text-based primary care service is powered by an AI and has a goal of providing accessible healthcare to all. I work on the Member Experience team using both quantitative and qualitative research methods for formative and evaluative user research to drive product designs.

My previous work at Epic Systems, a healthcare software company that develops electronic medical records and related software, introduced me to the world of usability and human-centered design. I spent almost three years at Epic, working as a User Experience Coordinator with a side of software testing. I have gained experience in leadership and management throughout my career.
